Caltrans has announced the following lane/ramp closures on Highway 101 in the Santa Barbara/Goleta areas next week:

• Southbound U.S. Highway 101 on-ramp at Glen Annie Road, closed 9:15 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26.
• Northbound U.S. Highway 101 on-ramp at Milpas Street closed 9:15 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27.
• No. 1 (left) lane of southbound U.S. Highway 101 closed between Fairview Avenue and Turnpike Road, 9:15 a.m.-3 pm. Wednesday, Aug. 28 and Thursday, Aug. 29.

These lane/ramp closures are necessary so Caltrans can perform vegetation control for fire prevention and improve the appearance of the corridor. The roadwork will be performed by the Caltrans Maintenance team of Santa Barbara.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
