Caltrans District 5 will accept public comments on the US Highway 101 San Jose Creek Bridge Replacement Project from Friday, Dec. 13 until Friday, Jan. 17.
Caltrans plans to replace the existing northbound and southbound San Jose Creek Bridges on Hwy. 101 in Goleta. These structures contain reactive aggregate which could compromise their integrity over time.
The public may review the initial study with a Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration/Environmental Assessment at the following locations:
City of Goleta Planning Office, 130 Cremona Drive, Goleta.
Goleta Valley Library, 500 N. Fairview Ave., Goleta.
Santa Barbara County Planning Office, 123 E. Anapamu St., Santa Barbara.
Santa Barbara Public Library, 40 E. Anapamu St.
