Carlie Ruthana Cosentino, 24, of Santa Barbara, passed away on July 18, 2026, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Carlie was born in Santa Barbara on Aug. 24, 2001 to Raytchell (Skeen) Cosentino and Jon Carmel Cosentino.

Carlie attended Hope School and OAS Elementary School, La Cumbre Jr. High, and Bishop Diego High School, where she made many friends.

As a small child she demonstrated her love of animals, and as she grew up, she lovingly gave homes to many cats, dogs, chinchillas, rat and birds. If there was an animal in need of a loving human, Carlie gladly took them in.

Carlie was also an extremely talented artist who loved to draw and create art.

Carlie tragically passed away by drowning in a pool at the tender age of 24.

Her family would like you to remember her as the zany, talented, silly girl she was. That she was a talented artist with a brilliant mind and an incredibly loving heart.

Carlie would want you to remember her with laughter.

Carlie’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday Sept. 24, (her 25th birthday) at Ledbetter Beach (Group Picnic Area) west end of the parking lot (Shoreline Drive and Loma Alta Drive, Santa Barbara.
