
Carol Lee Morales passed away suddenly on Jan. 6, 2026 while staying at an assisted living home in Canoga Park, California. Carol was born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital on March 4, 1957 to Manuel and Naomi Morales.
She graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1976, and subsequently went to work at Josten’s in Summerland where she made many lifelong friends.
After being on her own for some time she moved back home where she cared for her mother Naomi until her death.
Carol had a great love for dolphin collectibles, barbecue, music, gadgets of all sorts, QVC, HSN and phone calls anytime, day or night. One never knew if she was joking or telling the truth.
She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Naomi Morales, and all those who went before them. Carol is survived by her sisters Rose Olivera (Wayne) and Leonora Torrez (Danny); niece Naomi Rosales; great nieces Caitlynn and Carissa Conley; Aunt Donna LaForce; and cousin Clifford Cordero.
There are numerous surviving cousins of the Dommeyer, Ortegon, Garibay and Weese families; and her longtime friend Mary Green and family.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 13 at Carpinteria Cemetery, 1501 Cravens Lane, Carpinteria, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Moose Lodge, 110 W. Victoria St., Santa Barbara, from noon-4 p.m. Please RSVP with Rose 805-452-9149.
