“The Lady Warriors ended the regular season on a good positive Warrior way,” Carpinteria coach Henry Gonzales said. “Strong defense and efficient offense helped us get out in front by double digits early. We were able to keep the lead throughout the game and had good contribution from everyone on the roster.
“I was happy with our focused approach to end the regular season.”
Carpinteria finished the season playing five games in six days, and “the girls took the challenge head on and never backed down from it,” Gonzales said.
“I’m very proud of our team for their competitive spirit and never say die attitude.”
The Warriors will wait for Sunday morning’s CIF-SS Division 5A playoff parings.
“We look forward to extending our season,” Gonzales said.
