Carpinteria boys water polo wrapped up its Citrus Coast League season with a 22-0 rout of Hueneme on Wednesday.
It was a balanced attack for the Warriors, as every player scored at least once. Asher Smith led the charge in all categories with six goals, three assists and three steals.
“I’m very proud of the season our boys have put together,” Carpinteria coach Karl Fredrickson said. “They’ve worked hard, pushed and supported one another, and represented Carpinteria and CCL aquatics with pride and integrity.
“Today’s game was a final showcase of just that.”
The Warriors will compete in the first round of the CIF Division 2 Playoffs on Tuesday.
