Carpinteria boys water polo’s defense asserted its dominance in a 15-0 shutout win over Hueneme on Tuesday.
Each Warrior player scored at least once while Jake Elhers led the way with a trio of goals.
“I was proud to see the boys continue our streak of defensive discipline and play for each other in all four quarters,” Carpinteria coach Karl Fredrickson said.
The Warriors will host Nordhoff on Thursday for Senior Night.
Buena 10, Santa Barbara 3
The Dons couldn’t keep up with the Bulldogs in a 10-3 loss.
Shane Davis turned in a great all-around performance for Santa Barbara with three goals, three steals and two exclusions. He also held Buena’s top scorer scoreless.
In the cage, Nikita Kolosov had eight saves and a pair of steals.
The Dons will take on Rio Mesa on the road on Wednesday.
