Carpinteria High cross country competed in the second Citrus Coast League cluster meet on Tuesday at College Park in Oxnard.

Both the boys and girls teams finished in sixth place for the Warriors. The boys ended with 140 team points while the girls totaled 133.

Channel Islands finished in first place for the boys with 49 points and Fillmore came out on top in the girls race after registering 19 points.

Marbin Lujano was Carpinteria’s top boys finisher, placing seventh after a time of 16:48.59.

On the girls side, Audrey Kramer led the way for the Warriors with a time of 21:24.03, good for a 10th-place finish.

Carpinteria will participate in Saturday’s Dos Pueblos Invitational.
