Carpinteria girls volleyball had its season come to an end after suffering a sweep to Lighthouse Christian in the second round of the CIF-SS Div. 8 playoffs on Saturday.

The Warriors struggled early and couldn’t claw back, falling 25-11, 25-17, 25-23.

Amarisse Camargo had a solid game both offensively and defensively, ending with eight kills and five digs. 

Jenny Valencia dished out 13 assists and Ashlee Mora left her stamp defensively with 13 digs.

The Carpinteria middles found success, as Sawyer Taff collected four blocks and Camila Martinez chipped in three.

The Warriors wrap up their season with an overall record of 16-8. They finished second in the Citrus Coast League with a 9-3 mark.
