Carpinteria High boys water polo swept its doubleheader on Saturday to round out the Buena Tournament in Ventura.

The Warriors began the day with a 15-2 rout of Oxnard before capping off the weekend with a 14-5 victory over Rio Mesa.

In the win over Oxnard, Oscar De Leon led Carpinteria with three goals and four steals, while Kyle Taff and Chris Reed each scored twice. In goal, Stefano Picoletti had eight saves and one steal.

Later on in the day, Isaac Zick tallied a hat trick against Rio Mesa and Luke Donahue contributed two goals and three assists.

The Warriors will host crosstown rival Cate on Wednesday in their return to league play.
