Carpinteria High girls volleyball went up to Los Olivos and swept Dunn on Friday, 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.
The Warrior pairing of Cora Nimmons and Evelyn Aviles turned in strong performances from the service line to power the offense.
“We came, not sure what to expect, and the Earwigs came on strong and surprised us all,” Carpinteria High head coach Evan Rowbottom said. “They had amazing defense and the benefit of an amazing home crowd for senior night.
“Our defense has also gotten so much better, even in the last few games.”
