The Carpinteria High surf team swept Division 3 in the second Scholastic Surf Series event last Saturday at Emma Wood Beach in Ventura.
The Warriors accumulated the highest overall point total of any team, taking down their head-to-head opponent, Cate, by a score of 64-4.
John Morrison, Maddox Keet and Izzy Scott led the way for Carpinteria High with a trio of first-place finishes.
Morrison took first in the Body Board, Keet finished atop the leaderboard in the Boys Longboard and Scott claimed the top spot in the Girls Short Board.
The Warriors got three top 10 finishes in the Boys Short Board event as Luke Anderson placed third, Wyatt Pitterle came in fifth and Keet registered seventh place.
Noah Morente rounded out the boys standouts by coming in sixth place in the Boys Longboard.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Cooney had a big day with third-place showings in both the Girls Short Board and Long Board events. Hudson Findley finished just behind Cooney in fourth place in the Long Board.
Carpinteria High will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 8 in Malibu.
