Carpinteria High swim swept both matchups with Malibu in a Citrus Coast League meet on Monday.

The Warrior boys team came out on top 110-22 while the girls squad earned a 92-55 win.

“We have been in cold, wet and windy conditions, it was great to have a nice day,” Carpinteria High head coach Jon Otsuki said.

The boys earned first place in all but one event, led by double winners Sky Korling (100 fly, 200 freestyle), Jake Ehlers (50 freestyle, 500 freestyle) and Stefano Piccoletti (100 breaststroke, 200 IM).

Chris Reed also came away with an individual victory in the 100 backstroke.

Meanwhile, the Carpinteria girls claimed the top spot in six of the eight individual events and all three relays.

Izzy Scott tallied wins in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle while Lucia Smith (500 freestyle), Giulia Piccoletti (100 breaststroke), Madison Lee (200 IM) and Lucy Moore (100 backstroke) won their respective races.

The Warriors, now 3-0 against Citrus Coast League opponents, will take on Santa Paula on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Carpinteria Community Pool.
