Carpinteria High swim secured another sweep of the Citrus Coast League championship meet on Tuesday.

The Warrior boys totaled 366 points for their sixth straight league title, while the girls completed a three-peat with 267 points of their own.

“With CIF-SS competition ahead at Mt. SAC, these performances position the Warriors strongly for advancement, qualification heats and potential finals appearances,” Carpinteria High head coach Jon Otsuki said.

“More importantly, the meet showcased a team competing with confidence, depth, and a culture of excellence built on trust, preparation, and belief in one another.”

Jake Ehlers had a dominant meet for the Warriors, setting new program records and placing first in the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle. He also joined Stefano Piccoletti, Sky Korling and Massimo Bonilla-Zakosek to break a school record in the boys 200 medley relay.

Ehlers rounded out his standout day by teaming up with Korling, Luke Donahue and Wyatt Pitterle to take first in the 4×50 freestyle relay with a season-best time of 1:34.23.

Izzy Scott had a big day as well, claiming league titles in the girls 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. She was also a member of the school-record girls 200 medley relay team alongside Lucy Moore, Klari Blackman and Hazel Dugre.

Korling pulled in a pair of individual first-place finishes as well in the boys 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly races.

Meanwhile, Lucy Moore won the 100 backstroke, and both Madison Lee and Chris Reed defended their titles in the 200 IM races.
