Carpinteria High swim tallied a pair of victories in a Citrus Coast League meet with Santa Paula on Thursday.
The Warrior boys cruised to a 95-23 win while the girls pulled out a close 78-76 victory.
“The majority of the kids stepped up and swam early season best times today,” Carpinteria High head coach Jon Otsuki said. “It was a great day, I hope it is a sign of good things to come.”
Massimo Bonilla Zakosek (100 freestyle, 100 backstroke), Stefano Piccoletti (200 IM, 100 breaststroke) and Chris Reed (50 freestyle, 500 freestyle) each took home a pair of first-place finishes to lead the boys.
Meanwhile, Jake Ehlers and Ryder Shaw came out on top in the 200 freestyle and 100 fly, respectively.
As for the girls, Giulia Piccoletti (200 IM, 100 breaststroke), Madison Lee (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle) and Lucy Moore (100 backstroke, 500 freestyle) finished first in their events.
Hazel Dugre rounded out the Warrior individual winners as a first-place finisher in the 200 freestyle.
Both the boys and girls squads for Carpinteria swept all relay races.
The Warriors will now head into Spring Break with a 4-0 record in league meets.
