Carpinteria’s Jose “Swat” Suarez scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to prevail against visiting Villanova Prep in a 61-53 loss on Friday.

Kainoa Glasgow added 14 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Warriors, and Matt Garcia 12 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Shawn Tuang led Villanova with 21 points.
