The Warriors lost 1-0 at Hueneme on Friday in a hard-fought match.

Carpinteria sophomore goalkeeper Ariana Lounsbury had four saves, and senior defender had one.

“Senior Zahea Hamadi had some nice forays into the Hueneme back line from where she was playing defense,” said Carpinteria coach Lucy Carleton. “Freshman Samantha Cruz was also a spark  on offense and defense until she had to leave the game with an injury.”
