“We are thrilled to welcome Nicole to Casa del Herrero,” said Heather Biles, president of the Board of Trustees. “Her experience, knowledge, and passion for collections management will be invaluable as we continue to preserve and share the history of this special place.”

Caldwell holds a Masters in Archaeology from the University of Oxford (U.K.) and has experience working in nonprofit museums, historic homes, and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

“I am honored to be joining the team at Casa del Herrero,” Caldwell said. “It is such an architectural and artistic hidden gem and I look forward to preserving and promoting this unique and exquisite historic home.”

Caldwell will begin her new role in July 2023.
