Celebrities and pro pickleball players knocked the ball around for charity on Saturday at the Kenny Loggins Pickleball in the Danger Zone at the Santa Barbara Municipal Courts.
Loggins’ three-day doubles tournament, named after the hit song Loggins sang for the movie “Top Gun” in 1986, raised money for the Unity Shoppe, an organization Loggins and his wife, Lisa, have supported for more than 40 years.
The competition included women’s action on Friday, mixed doubles on Saturday and the men’s play on Sunday. Nearly 500 players registered for the second annual event.
Saturday’s action also featured a pro-celebrity competition, which included Loggins.
