A balanced scoring effort helped San Marcos to a 62-41 win over Pacifica Monday night in Oxnard to move to 6-6 in Channel League play and remain in the CIF-SS playoff hunt.
Wyatt Miller led the Royals with 13 points. Micah Jacobi added 11 and Diego Reyes nine. Ben Treadway and Joe Pasternack chipped in seven points apiece.
The Royals jumped out to a 38-17 first half lead behind a balanced scoring attack. Diego Reyes led the way scoring all 9 of his points for the game on three first half three-pointers.

Buena 80, Dos Pueblos 42
The Dos Pueblos boys fell to Buena Monday night in a Channel League game, 80-42.
“On Senior Night it was good to see community support as we honored six players,” Chargers coach Joe Zamora said. “Joe Talarico led us on both ends of the court. Micah Goss did another good job on the boards for us.”
The Chargers, now 3-10 in league and 8-19 overall, play at Ventura on Wednesday.
Zane Carter led Buena with 16 points. The Bulldogs are 11-2 in Channel League play and 24-3 overall.
