The California Highway Patrol responded to a rollover vehicle collision in the Highway 101 section under construction in Montecito Wednesday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m., a SUV traveling southbound reportedly hit the center divider and rolled at Olive Mill Road, according to the CHP incident log.

The crash blocked multiple lanes during the morning commute, and photos of the incident shared with KEYT showed the crash happened in the area of the lane split.

Highway 101 construction is underway in the area with concrete rails lining lanes.

The crash and emergency response affected traffic in northbound and southbound lanes, according to the CHP.

The CHP reportedly reopened lanes to traffic by 8:30 a.m.

No additional information was available.

This collision comes a day after another rollover crash nearby.

The CHP responded to a minor-injury rollover crash Tuesday morning on northbound Highway 101 near Hermosillo Road, also in Montecito.
