Santa Barbara County officials and business leaders gather Saturday for the ribbon-cutting on the new Clean Air Express bus service between the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara. Among those attending the launch event in Buellton were, from left, Kathy Vreeland, Buellton Visitors Bureau; Buellton Mayor Holly Sierra and Vice Mayor Ed Andrisek; Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneider; Third District Supervisor Doreen Farr; Solvang Mayor Jim Richardson, board chairman of the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments; First District Supervisor Salud Carbajal; Tracy Farhad, Solvang Visitors Bureau; and Shelby Sim, Visit Santa Ynez Valley. The regular fare is $7 per person each way (buy at boarding) or a booklet of 10 passes is $50 in advance. Children age 2 and under ride free.
