Carpinteria’s Community Development Department invites local residents to a workshop about the city’s Coastal Land Use Plan/General Plan (CLUP/GP) update.

The interactive meeting will be 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 8 in the Community Room at the Carpinteria Community Library.

Following a brief presentation, attendees will gather in small groups to speak directly with city staff, ask questions, and offer feedback on the draft plan. Pizza and salad will be served.

“Whether you live, work or play in Carpinteria, this is a valuable opportunity to engage in the city’s long-range planning process and help shape the future of our community,” the city said.

For those unable to attend, written comments on the draft plan may be submitted in the following ways:
• Email to GPUpdate@CarpinteriaCA.gov
• Drop off at City Hall, 5775 Carpinteria Ave., during regular business hours
• Mail to City Hall, Attn: Long Range Planning, 5775 Carpinteria Ave., Carpinteria, CA 93013.
