Lompoc’s Old Town Market will return for 2025 with a condensed version, Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce representatives said.
This year’s version will start a week later, with plans to begin Friday, July 18 and end Friday, Aug. 8 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the 100 block of South H Street.
Old Town Market features various vendors plus nonprofit groups along with food, beverages and entertainment.
“Due to time and planning constraints, the season will be shorter — but just as vibrant and full of community vibes,” Chamber of Commerce representatives posted on social media.
Amid an eleventh-hour City Council decision to axe the funding contribution to the organization, Chamber of Commerce officials announced their intention to close June 30 and cancel the Old Town Market.
However, last week, after a stream of speakers spoke in favor of the chamber funding, the City Council agreed to allocate money.
The dates and themes of this year’s Old Town Market are:
- July 18 — Performing Arts Night and Lompoc High School Alumni Association Car Cruise with registration for the vehicle event available here.
- July 25 — Ag & Wine Night, Sip Lompoc and Sip Local Tasting Event
- Aug. 1 — Healthy Lompoc Night
- Aug. 8 — Public Safety Night with the Lompoc Police Foundation Car Cruise. Details about the Foundation’s Car Cruise and the Car Show the next day can be found here.
Chamber of Commerce representatives spent the end of the week contacting vendors to reconfirm participation in the 2025 Old Town Market.
“Your support makes all the difference in helping us bring life and energy to South H Street this summer. Thank you for being an essential part of our Chamber family. Let’s make the most of this opportunity and show Lompoc what community looks like,” Chamber officials said.
