The Consciousness Network will present an evening of community-building, inspiration and personal growth with international best-selling author Gay Hendricks, 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the Marjorie Luke Theatre, 721 E. Cota St., Santa Barbara.
Hendricks has been recognized as a leading expert in personal growth, relationships, spirituality and goal achievement and has appeared on more than 500 radio and television shows, including Oprah, CNN, CNBC, and 48 HOURS.
He will speak about his best-selling book The Big Leap, outlining the most effective approach to overcoming barriers to happiness and fulfillment and providing a clear path for achieving not only financial success but success in life and love as well.

Hendricks is a psychologist and leader in the fields of relationship transformation and body-mind therapies. After earning his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Stanford University, he served as professor of counseling psychology at the University of Colorado.
He has written more than 40 books, including such bestsellers as Five Wishes, The Big Leap, and Conscious Loving, His books have been used as primary text in universities around the world.
Forrest Leichtberg, founder and president of the Consciousness Network, will be the host and emcee for the evening.
