In September the now former Covenant Retirement Communities announced approval from its board of directors for the new corporate name, new community names and identities. Now, with all the legal filings and documentations complete, beginning June 25, the official rebranding to Covenant Living Communities and Services is in effect.
Covenant Living, the nation’s fifth largest senior living and healthcare provider, owns and manages 16 communities in nine states.
As part of the Covenant Living family, The Samarkand is now Covenant Living at the Samarkand. The new name is distinctive to the location, while remaining connected to the larger organization.
“This rebranding positions our organization in a fresh, energetic and welcoming way for the older adults we serve, their family members and will help in attracting new employees. It is more than exciting to finally put our new name to full use for everyone to see,” said Terri Cunliffe, Covenant Living president/CEO.
Those who live and work at Covenant Living at the Samarkand, along with the public, will now see the new name and logo. The community will have new exterior signage, marketing collateral, rebranded website, and employee uniforms for those in healthcare, housekeeping, facilities maintenance and dining.
The new name and logo connects Covenant Living to its Christian heritage, reflects its values, and projects liveliness, health and growth.
The new logo symbolizes Covenant Living being a faith-based organization incorporating the Christian symbol of a fish implying a place for new life, safe space and of community.
The color palette was chosen to communicate vitality and health.
