Two men were stabbed and transported to a hospital in a Saturday incident in Isla Vista, and sheriff’s detectives are looking for witnesses, officials said this week.

The stabbings reportedly occurred during a fight shortly after midnight on the 6700 block of Del Playa Drive.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Raquel Zick said Thursday that two adult men were stabbed during the incident and that detectives think several suspects were involved.

Both stabbing victims were taken to the hospital and are “expected to recover,” Zick said.
