Two-time duathlon national champion Dixon Atkins edged triathlete Sean Harrington to win June’s Monday Night 10-Mile Cycling Time Trial in Goleta.
Atkins finished in 23 minutes, 33 seconds, two seconds ahead of Harrington.
The battle for third place went down to the wire as John Waltman (24.40) nipped Bill Lupo (24.41). Jim Pazen came in fifth in 25.51.
Sarah Terry was the women’s winner in 28.00 followed by Cindy Abrami (30.35) and Kristen Holbrook (30.40).
