Dos Pueblos boys water polo cranked up the offensive fireworks in a pair of wins over Cypress and Sunny Hills on Friday, totaling 32 goals.
With the wins, the Chargers are now 9-5 on the season.
Dos Pueblos 15, Cypress 5
The Chargers began the day with a dominating win over Cypress, 15-5.
A majority of the win can be attributed to Dos Pueblos’ hot start, as the team held a 7-0 lead after the first quarter. That dominance continued into the second, as the Chargers were up 11-1 at halftime.
Jaden Moore led the team with six goals while five other Chargers scored. Ben Fuhrer finished behind Moore with three goals while also playing solid defense at center.
Dos Pueblos 17, Sunny Hills 4
The offensive outburst continued into the second game as the Chargers took down Sunny Hills 17-4.
Dos Pueblos had four goals in each of the first three quarters before scoring five in the fourth.
Grant Nelson and Andrew Kilne-Fernandez led the way offensively, scoring four and three goals, respectively.
In the cage, Reggie Robles held Sunny Hills to one goal a quarter and made 13 saves.
