Dos Pueblos boys water polo remained undefeated in Channel League play with an 18-3 rout of Oxnard on Monday at Elings Aquatic Center.

After racing out to a 5-2 lead after the first quarter, the Chargers exploded for eight goals while shutting out the Yellow Jackets in the second to pull away for a 13-2 advantage.

The Dos Pueblos defense continued to stifle every Oxnard attack in the second half, resulting in the 18-3 win.

Skyler Carroll and Max Gelman each scored twice to lead an all-around effort in which 11 different Chargers scored. Meanwhile, Leon Guo, Kai Paterson and Petar Genov netted their first varsity goals.

On the defensive end, Max Heinemann totaled four saves and a pair of steals for Dos Pueblos (20-4, 4-0 Channel League).
