The pairing was honored at Monday’s SBART Press Luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.

Lee played a crucial role in the Charger football team taking down San Marcos by a score of 16-15 in the Battle for the Goodland, punching their ticket to the CIF-SS playoffs.

The sophomore had six catches for 66 yards, including an impressive fourth-down snag to keep the game-winning drive alive late in the fourth quarter. He also totaled 44 kick return yards.

Tuttle was the top San Marcos girls finisher in the Santa Barbara County Championship meet last week in Lompoc, where the Royals swept the county championship.

She crossed the finish line in 18:29 in the 3-mile race, securing a third place individual showing.
