Dos Pueblos flag football remained perfect on the season with a dominating 40-6 win over Hueneme on Tuesday.
Gianna Nichols once again had a great day at quarterback, throwing three touchdown passes. Those touchdowns were caught by Esme Mazurkiewicz, Katy Peterson and Sophia Pixley.
On the ground, Peterson and Sterling Streatfield each scored long rushing touchdowns.
The Charger defense was solid, led by Taylor Hayes’ sack and multiple flag pulls. Brooklyn Hedricks made the biggest defensive play of the day in the form of a 52-yard pick-six.
Dos Pueblos is now 7-0 this year with a 3-0 record in Channel League.
