Dos Pueblos flag football suffered its first Channel League loss of the year with a 25-24 defeat at the hands of Oxnard High on Thursday night in Oxnard.
The Chargers are now 16-3 overall and are tied atop the league standings with the Yellow Jackets, as both teams are 5-1 and have split the season series.
Ruby Streatfeild had a hand in all four of Dos Pueblos’ touchdowns, throwing for a pair of scores and finding the end zone twice on the ground as well. Brooklyn Hedricks caught both touchdown passes.
On the defensive end, Tabby Weller and CiCi Moccardini each recorded interceptions, while Hedricks, Makyla Watt and Kindah Ahmad-Reda all had multiple sacks.
The Chargers will look to bounce back when they head across town to take on San Marcos on Tuesday.
