Dos Pueblos traveled down to Pacifica on Thursday and were hit early and often, as a 41-point first quarter led the Tritons to a dominant 68-7 victory.

With the loss, the Chargers dropped to 2-3 overall and are now 0-3 in league play. Pacifica, meanwhile, kept up its dominance in Channel league and remained undefeated at 6-0 on the year and 4-0 against league opponents.

The game got out of hand quickly, as the Tritons forced two three-and-outs, recovered a Dos Pueblos fumble and turned that into a 28-0 lead midway through the first.

By the time the first quarter was over, Pacifica had registered four passing touchdowns and two scores on the ground to head into the second up 41-0.

The second quarter was more of the same, as the Charger offense was stifled by the dominant Triton defense while Pacifica’s offense scored two more touchdowns through the air and added another on the ground to head to the locker room up 62-0.

Due to the lopsided score, the clock was running for the entirety of the second half.

The Triton offense took its foot off the gas pedal in the third, as they were shut out by the Dos Pueblos defense.

On the other side of the ball, the Chargers found the endzone for the first and only time when Kaleb Williams punched in a rushing touchdown from inside the 10-yard line to bring the score to 62-7.

Pacifica added on one last touchdown in the fourth quarter as the time continued to run off, clinching the 68-7 win for the first-place Tritons.

Dos Pueblos will look to put this one in the rearview mirror and look ahead to a matchup against Channel Islands next Friday.
