Dos Pueblos girls beach volleyball narrowly fell to Aliso Niguel by a score of 3-2 on Friday in Goleta.
The No. 3 Charger duo of Faith Harrison and Kyra Sample pulled out a three-set victory over their opponents, 21-18, 16-21, 15-12.
Meanwhile, Dos Pueblos’ scoring was rounded out by a straight-set win at court four by Athena Bardakos and Marley Wilcher, 21-14, 21-19.
The Chargers also got strong performances from Allie Ben Yaacov/Char Welch at court one and Mia Taylor and Maeve Jaeger at the No. 5 spot with a pair of three-set losses.
Dos Pueblos is now 1-3 in non-league action on the young season.
