Dos Pueblos girls lacrosse suffered a 13-9 non-league loss to Orange Lutheran on Thursday at Scott O’Leary Stadium.
The Chargers got out to a strong start, as the game was tied at 2-2 after the first quarter and they took a slim 6-5 lead into halftime.
However, Orange Lutheran poured in five goals in the third to pull away and take a 10-7 advantage.
The fourth quarter was more of the same as Orange Lutheran kept Dos Pueblos at a safe distance to earn the 13-9 win.
Reagan Arnold and Eloise Shea each had three goals for the Chargers while Carly Ridenour scored twice. Stella Lawler ended with 11 saves in the cage.
Dos Pueblos (3-3) will host Murrieta Valley for its first game of the Gold Coast Tournament on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
