Dos Pueblos lacrosse senior goalie Salem Bawahneh led a strong defensive effort in a 8-0 shutout win at Royal Thursday.
“Standing tall with 11 saves, Salem denied every chance Royal had,” Charger coach Lucas Martinez said. “Senior defenders Dash Roshell and Brody Fredrickson were terrors on the ball, stripping Royal players off the ball countless times.”
Sophomore midfielder Gus Miller led the offense with two goals and two assists. The Finneran brothers had 3 points each, Jack with three goals and Dan with three assists.
Dos Pueblos is 2-1 on the season.
