Dos Pueblos High School Foundation hopes to raise $50,000 at its ROUND UP Gala & Auction to support the new DPHS Wellness Center.

Tickets for the Saturday, April 22 event at the Frog Bar & Grill at Glen Annie Golf Club in Goleta, are on sale here. The gala includes dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, and live entertainment.

“We are excited to host this event that brings our community together for such an important purpose,” said Jennifer Ono, president of the DPHS Foundation.

“The mental health of our students is of the utmost importance and we are working hard to raise the needed funds to help support our DP students through the new Wellness Center on campus, opening fall 2023,” she said.

The vision for the Wellness Center is to provide a safe place for students to go when they are feeling anxious, stressed or in need of social and emotional support.

The space will centralize existing mental health professionals, offer drop-in mental health support during every school day, provide information to students and families on the referral process, highlight our community agency partners, and provide meeting space for wellness groups and group therapy.

Students can also use the center for myriad support needs including food insecurity, school supplies, and mental health awareness and support.

“The school administration is working closely with foundation on this important and fun event,” said Dos Pueblos High School Principal Bill Woodard. “We ask the community to consider donating and/or attending this special event. Your donations will make a lasting impact at DP.”

Corporate sponsors for the event currently include: Deckers Corporation, American Riviera Bank, Taylor Farms, Smart & Final, Por La Mar Nursery, Fidelity/Chicago Title, Cascade Well & Pump, Mullen & Henzell, Pure Engineering, and Big Speak.

Sponsorship opportunities are available.
