Dos Pueblos Little League is inviting players and families back for its third Annual DPLL Skills Clinic, 9-11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 25 at Girsh Fields in Goleta.
The clinic builds on last year’s momentum, when nearly 100 young athletes participated and more than 40 volunteers, made up of experienced coaches, current DPLL players, and young alumni, came together to create a fun, supportive learning environment, Dos Pueblos Little League said.
Families can expect a well-organized, high-energy day focused on skill development and confidence-building on the field, the organization said.
Tee-ball players will rotate through age-appropriate stations covering the fundamentals of base-running, field positioning, and core skills such as hitting, throwing and catching.
Incoming Farm (machine pitch) and Coast (coach pitch) division players will participate in more advanced drills designed to sharpen skills and provide pre-season reps ahead of the spring season.
The DPLL Skills Clinic is open to all players, regardless of experience or league affiliation. Whether participants are registered with Dos Pueblos Little League, another local league, or not currently enrolled in any league at all, everyone is welcome.
The clinic is designed for players who want to learn, have fun, and start the season feeling confident and excited about baseball.
