Dos Pueblos pitcher Joe Talarico pitched 6-1/3 innings of a 5-0 shutout over Atascadero Friday in a home non-league game, and helped his cause with an RBI single.

Talarico struck out eight and gave up four hits. Kyle Spink pitched the final 2/3 inning and earned a save.

The Chargers carried a 1-0 lead into the sixth inning, when a three-run home run by Alexander Hajda helped put the game away.

Dylan Gesswein contributed an RBI double to the Charger cause.

Greyhounds pitcher Donovan Kerr went all six innings, giving up five hits and five earned runs.

Dos Pueblos is now 9-9 overall, and remains 4-4 in Channel League play.

The Chargers play at St. Joseph on Saturday, and return to league play on Tuesday, hosting Rio Mesa.
