Dos Pueblos High School student-athletes Sterling and Ruby Streatfeild took their talents overseas at the inaugural Roma Bowl, an international flag football tournament in Rome, Italy.

The sister duo helped lead the Conquer Los Angeles Chargers Flag Football Club to the tournament championship against teams from around the world.

The Roma Bowl, despite making its debut in 2026, is one of Europe’s premier international youth tournaments.

Ruby Streatfeild was particularly impressive throughout the tournament and was named the Roma Bowl Most Valuable Player after leading her team in scoring.

The Streatfeild sisters have played key roles in the success of the Dos Pueblos girls flag football program since its inception.

Ruby is a rising senior for the Chargers, while Sterling graduated from Dos Pueblos earlier this month.

The Conquer Los Angeles Chargers Flag Football Club is the official Chargers club flag football program through the NFL Flag initiative.

The international reach of the first-ever Roma Bowl is just another example of the meteoric rise of girls flag football, a sport that is set to make its debut in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
