Jaden Moore paced the Dos Pueblos offense with five goals, and the Chargers’ defense held Woodbridge to just three goals in the second half en route to a 15-6 victory for the championship at the Don Lugo Fall Classic on Saturday.
Goalie Reggie Robles keyed the defensive effort with 10 saves in the final.
The Chargers jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first period, getting goals from Grant Nelson, Ben Fuhrer, Moore and Adam Gelman.
The DP offense was balanced, with Gelman, Andrew Fernandez-Kline, Nelson and Lucas Neushul each scoring two goals.
The defense made the difference in the semifinals, too. DP held Chino Hills to just two goals in the second half of an 11-8 win.
Robles made eight saves and had a steal.
Moore scored five goals and drew four exclusions. Fuhrer handed out four steals to go with a pair of goals.
Dos Pueblos improves to 11-5 on the season.
