Dos Pueblos wrestling dropped a Channel League dual meet against Pacifica on Monday inside Sovine Gym.
The Charger boys fell to the Tritons by a score of 53-23 while the girls dropped their meet 42-18.
106-pounder Jason Dubbs led the way for Dos Pueblos with a victory by way of tech fall while Andrew Gilligan (126), Seamus Fergus (150) and Ethan Ono (215) all earned wins by fall.
As for the girls, Yaretzi Arredondo (105), Ariana Valladares (110) and Sierrah Kendig (135) tallied wins by fall for the Chargers.
“It is very fun watching these girls go to work. Their matches are exciting, and they really support each other through every bout,” Dos Pueblos head coach Matthew Bernard said.
“The boys varsity team faced a seasoned Pacifica squad and our young team was edged out by experience. We’ll continue to work and improve on the progress they’ve made to date.”
