Dos Pueblos played without starters Kevin Cheng and Joseph McDaniel on Wednesday but the Chargers charged ahead in “gale-force” winds with an impressive 12-6 victory over Santa Ynez. The nonconference win avenged a close loss at Santa Ynez last year when Dos Pueblos tied 9-9 in sets but lost by one game.
