Dos Pueblos got back on the winning track with a home sweep of Santa Ynez Thursday in Channel League play, 25-12, 25-16, 25-23.
Portia Sherman had 14 kills and 10 digs, adding an ace and a block, and Chloe Hoffman added 12 kills and 10 digs for the Chargers. Natali Flint had 35 assists and two aces, and Erin Curtis had 21 digs.
“We had a great bounce back match after our loss at Santa Barbara” on Tuesday, Dos Pueblos coach Megan O’Carroll said. “We were able to work on a lot of things and found success with all of our attackers.
“I think our serve receive was excellent tonight, which helped give Natali a ton of options on offense. Santa Ynez had a good blocking night which helped us work on covering the ball and mixing up our shots.”
Dos Pueblos is now 6-1 in Channel League play and 26-5 overall.
