The Dos Pueblos boys and girls dominated a meet with Cabrillo, both varsity and junior varsity, including several personal bests, in Channel League action.
Among highlights, varsity boys runners Connor Dolan and Eric Roldan took first and second in the 400 meters, both setting personal best times.
Freshman Eamon Gordon took first place in the varsity 3200 run, also earning his personal best time. On the field, Conor Dolan jumped his personal best, clearing a height of 5’9”.
For the varsity girls, Eva Vigil Garcia ran a PR in the 800 meter race, and Phoebe Wolfe Lyons also ran a PR to take first place in the 1600 meters. In the challenging 3200m race, Reese Wahlberg earned first place after working through a tough injury this season ultimately earning a PR take and first place.
Sophie Saleh also ran a PR in the 3200 meters, 13:05.01.
On the field for the girls, senior Kaelani Butler cleared 7′ 0″ in pole vault placing first and earning a PR. Senior Bernice Gomez Chavez jumped her best this season, placing well in both the pole vault and long jumps.
