Leila Chisholm, Bella Nuno, and Georgia Wilson each had two hits for Dos Pueblos — with Wilson collecting five RBI — in a 14-2 Channel League win at home over Santa Ynez on Friday.

On the mound, Wilson and Nuno combined to hold the Pirates to just four hits.

The Chargers improve to 3-0 in league play and 6-1 overall with the win.

Santa Ynez managed to load the bases and score two runs to take a 2-0 lead in the top of the first.

Dos Pueblos answered right back in the bottom of the inning. A walk, hit batsman and a double by Riley Monroe tied the game. Wilson followed a Leila Chisholm single with a single of her own to score Monroe. Mackenzie Ensign made it 4-2 with a line drive to right.

“I was very impressed with Leila Chisholm swinging the bat today,” Charger coach Mike Gerken said. “She made a lot of good contact. She also executed a perfect bunt for a base hit later in the game. Bella continues to be our offensive leader. It seems there is nothing she can’t hit right now. “
