Will Steinberg lost only two games in sweeping his three No. 1 singles matches, leading Dos Pueblos to a 13-5 non-league boys tennis win over visiting Arroyo Grande on Monday.

The Chargers improved to 9-1 on the season.

In doubles, the team of Connor MacPherson and Hugh Sutherland also lost just two games in sweeping (6-0, 6-0, 6-2). Keaton Cross and Daniel Truong won 6-1, 6-2, 6-2

Ryan Belkin won two singles sets for the Chargers.

“Arroyo Grande is always a strong team and we know we will have them in our schedule for many seasons ahead,” said DP coach Laura Housinger. “I was impressed with Keaton and Daniel in they way they close out points and find a rhythm quickly in a match. Connor and Hugh had quick net play and efficient points.”
