The Dos Pueblos Little League 10-Under All-Stars had their impressive run end after an 11-0 loss to Palos Verdes LL in the semifinals of the So Cal State Tournament at Imperial Beach LL.
In the State Tournament, DPLL finished in third place with a record of 3-2.
Oliver Palmer started the game on the mound and gave the team 3 ⅔ innings. After Palmer, Juan Meza, Luka Wilson, James Chou and Isaiah Estrella combined to finish the game.
Offensively, Chou led the team with two hits, one of which being a double. Matias Csordas and Andrew Wang each contributed a hit of their own.
Earlier in the summer, DPLL went undefeated in both the District and Sectionals tournaments, finishing the summer with an overall record of 9-2.
“I’m so proud of these boys and what they have accomplished this summer,” DPLL manager Chad Wang said. “Our goal was to win District, but our summer run just kept going. DPLL calls out All-Stars the Boys of Summer, and these 10U Boys of Summer truly made it an incredible summer experience of baseball.”
The Dos Pueblos Little League 10U All-Stars consist of Andrew Wang, Isaiah Estrella, Jacob Stock, James Chou, Juan Meza, Luka Wilson, Matias Csordas, Oliver Palmer, Philip Lowe, Ryan Lem, Ryan Means, Spencer Shaw, and Zane Pflanzer. The team is managed by Chad Wang with coaches Matt Stock, Ray Planzer, and assistant coaches Chris Lem, Jono Wilson, and Atticus Lowe.
