Ethan Sierra hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning and Easton Jones drove in the go-ahead run in the sixth, helping the Dos Pueblos Little League 8-Under All Stars rally for a 5-4 win over Montalvo to reach the championship game of the District 63 Tournament.
Dos Pueblos will play Goleta Valley South for the title on Tuesday night at Montalvo Little League in Ventura.
Luke Connolly, Dax Snowden and Teagan Hug each had three hits, and Lincoln Moran, Reid Wilson and Sierra had two hits apiece for DPLL.
On the mound, Wilson struck out eight and allowed just two baserunners in three innings. Aidan Gonzalez pitched the last three innings and didn’t allow a walk.
The DPLL All-Star team is comprsised of Jeremiah Bodenhamer, Reid Wilson, Aidan Gonzalez, Dax Snowden, Easton Jones, Kai Holmes, Isaiah Fennell, Colin Ruiz, Lincoln Moran, Luke Connolly, Ethan Sierra and Teagan Hug.
